People ask "Why are you still selling houses?" My answer is that I really love helping people make good decisions in real estate. It's a pleasure to see you achieve your goals in buying and selling homes, lots, and condos here in the Golden Isles. Assisting young people with their purchase or handling details for a seasoned buyer picking up another investment property--I view it all as a person's most valuable transaction to date.

My wife Tyler (Herrington) and I are originally from Waynesboro, Georgia. We moved to St. Simons Island in 1978 and raised our two children here. Tyler is a University of Georgia graduate where she was a Phi Mu. She teaches art in the public school system and has helped me build several real estate practices over the years. Our son John Wallace, a recent graduate of the College of Charleston, is interested in coastal environmental management. Daughter Anne, a college junior, majors in Architecture at NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina. Out of state fees are killing me! We are active members of St. Simons United Methodist Church and have been involved in school, church and civic activities in the community for many years. We support local charities; I'm most involved with our local Boy Scout Council at present. We are Live Oak members of the St. Simons Land Trust. I really enjoy time with family, young people, college sports, making real estate dreams come true and muscle cars.
